Details of Show Programs & Events

① #CULTURE: The Appeal of Mobility from the Past to the Present

Mobility is more than transportation; it has had a profound impact on our lives, shaping our memories, values, and perspectives. The Mobility Culture Program presented at Japan Mobility Show allows you to experience this appeal firsthand: the presence of legendary cars that have made history, the live sensation of engines pulsing, the passion of car and motorcycle enthusiasts, and cutting-edge technology connecting us to the future. At the nexus of these elements, we offer an experience that will redefine your understanding of mobility.
The Culture Exhibition will be held in the East 7 Hall. Iconic vehicles that once defined their eras are brought back to life, alongside vivid scenes of bustling post-war cities, the cultural trends that shaped everyday life, and the technological innovations that emerged in response to crises and resource shortages. The exhibition will explore how mobility has intersected with people’s lives and values throughout history. After viewing the exhibition, you will likely wish to discuss it with someone.
Multiple offerings at the East Parking Area will allow visitors to engage more deeply with the appeal of the vehicles. Whether showruns demonstrating the potential of next-generation fuels, motorsports attractions that let visitors experience the excitement of the cars and motorcycles involved, or off-road driving demonstrations by SUVs, the powerful scenes unfolding before visitors are sure to leave a lasting impression. Valuing not only the vehicles themselves but also the connections among enthusiasts, we will host events where fans of both four- and two-wheeled vehicles can come together and share stories.

In addition, visitors of all ages can enjoy a variety of programs throughout the show venue, including a kei truck market, exhibits of special-purpose vehicles, supercars and custom cars, as well as family-favorite attractions such as camper vans and the Tomica booth.

② #FUTURE: The Future of Mobility

Tokyo Future Tour 2035 is an innovative cross-company exhibition project created in collaboration with more than 150 companies (as of September 10). It offers insights into future trends, focusing on developments that are timely yet forward-looking, in a timeframe of 10 years. These insights are presented through various technologies, mobility solutions, and scenarios relevant to daily life. Just as digitalization and the use of AI have become commonplace over the past decade, we aim to ensure that the next decade is not perceived as something distant and unrelated, but rather as a period shaped by everyone’s ideas and choices. Our objective is to convey the idea that individuals have the capacity to shape their own futures.
Specifically, information and communication technologies, which have supported digitalization and AI, are expected to evolve even further. Mobility will become closely integrated not only with vehicles but also with a wide range of services, bringing to the real world new everyday experiences within a decade from now. Visitors can experience aerial mobility firsthand through test rides of SKYDRIVE, envision how cities and roads will transform over the next decade as mobility evolves, and experience the symbiosis with nature enabled by mobility. Visitors can also see vehicles that can be endlessly reconfigured according to users’ own design ideas, as well as the Toyota Miraidon and Honda Koraidon, each created through their respective Toyota and Honda projects—symbols of what can be achieved when serious dedication meets technological innovation.

③ #CREATION: The Business of Mobility

At Startup Future Factory, our objective is to generate new enthusiasm through collaborative business initiatives involving startups, thereby propelling the growth of the mobility industry. The Exhibition Street features more than 120 startup and university-sponsored booths showcasing various products, services, and technological innovations. A total of 30 companies chosen through preliminary rounds will compete in the Pitch Contest & Awards program. Furthermore, the popular Future Bulletin Board from the previous show—where an artist illustrated visions of a future mobility society based on ideas put forward by visitors—will return to Japan Mobility Show 2025 in an enhanced and upgraded form. We will also showcase companies and mobility solutions actively working to bring to life the visions outlined in the show in 2023. Currently, 130 companies are participating in this program, promising broader business co-creation and even more excitement than at the last show.
On the talkshow stage at Future Mobility Forum, JAMA’s Chairman and Vice-Chairmen will participate in a special session titled “The Future Is Created Together.” They will deliver talks on the theme of “visions for a prosperous and dream-fulfilling mobility-based society” and engage in discussions sharing their passion for mobility. The forum will also feature business-focused sessions on topics related to the future of mobility, with JAMA Executive Directors taking the stage to provide input, as well as talk sessions on more general themes such as “Well-being × Mobility” and “Hospitality × Mobility.”

Other Programs

Highly popular at previous shows, Out of KidZania in Japan Mobility Show, a program conducted in collaboration with the family-oriented entertainment enterprise KidZania, is a career-focused, hands-on experience-based activities program where kids can take on a variety of mobility-related jobs using real equipment and tools. The program will be on offer at Japan Mobility Show 2025 for participation, completely free of charge, by children in elementary school and younger.
For older visitors to Japan Mobility Show 2025, the AJAJ Guided Tours will again be available, led by volunteer members of the Automobile Journalists Association of Japan (AJAJ) who will provide expert insights into the show’s content.
Contributing to the excitement, novelty and fun, Japan Mobility Show’s Gourmet Street will bring together in the venue about 40 food trucks featuring a wide variety of gastronomic specialties. As well as offering enjoyable dining experiences, JMS Gourmet Street will also serve as a place for visitors to take a break and relax.

Japan Mobility Show Official App

The show’s official app will be adding more features to enhance the on-site experience, including exhibitor and program introductions, activity reservations, the ability to save favorites, and the WakuWaku Navi (Excitement Navigator).
The ticket management feature enables you to import your tickets, allowing for effortless entry on the day of your visit using only your smartphone. The app also allows you to transfer tickets in advance, so you and your friends or family can enter the venue smoothly without any last-minute hassle at the gates.
Additionally, starting Tuesday, September 30, reservations for the Out of KidZania in Japan Mobility Show 2025 and the AJAJ Guided Tours will be available exclusively through the official app.
In view of the popularity of these attractions, it is strongly recommended that visitors download the official app and make their reservations well in advance.
